Lam's Pharmacy was founded in 1983 by Roger and Marsha Lam, husband and wife pharmacists. At that time the "Strip" was still a dream. Henderson and Summerlin did not exist. The area on West Charleston was for all intents and purposes, the edge of town. The Lams had done their homework, however, and as the town grew around their business, doctors, dentists, veterinarians and other health care practitioners gravitated around the University Medical Center and Valley Hospital Medical Center. The intersection of West Charleston and Rancho became one of the busiest in the city. Lam's Pharmacy had one of the best locations in Las Vegas! In a very short period of time Roger and Marsha discovered their formula for sustained success. It was, and still is, pretty simple: Treat ALL people with respect - We fill prescriptions for thousands of people. We work hard to provide "legendary service"  - service that people love, remember and tell their friends about. Focus on pharmacy and only pharmacy - We don't sell panty hose, no photo, no garden. Just pharmacy! When you walk into our pharmacy, you are immediately IN the pharmacy. You can easily identify our pharmacists. If you are not feeling well, you don't have to walk through a big store and around aisles of various merchandise to get to the pharmacy. Pharmacy is ALL we do ! Carry an inventory that serves doctors & patients - We have the drugs in stock to fill prescriptions. We don't like to ask our patients to make multiple trips. When people don't feel good, they want to get their medicine and go home. If we don't have it in stock (which is rare), we can get it in less than 24 hours (sometimes the same day) and we offer a delivery service. Have competitive prices and make a fair profit - We are not the low price leader for prescriptions in Las Vegas. But since insurance co-pays are pretty much the same whichever pharmacy you choose, the prices at Lam's are the same as at the big chains (it's just that at the chains you can't get Lam's Legendary Service!). For cash paying patients and customers, you will find that Lam's is competitive in price - especially for the service you get in return. Lam's was purchased in 2006 by COFII Corporation. Roger and Marsha still work in the pharmacy from time to time. They personally trained the team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians at Lam's today. The principles and relationships that they established remain the heart of the pharmacy and our business.
